Our client, a prestigious multi-strategy hedge fund based in New York City, is seeking a Chief Risk Officer with a strong market risk background to lead the department.  As a key member of the management team, the CRO will work closely with portfolio managers and traders to quantify risk exposures in order to maximize risk/return profile.

This position will take the lead role in creating policies and procedures to analyze/monitor risks,  as well as to design and develop risk management architecture and methodology.  Must be able to think strategically, provide insight into valuation of complex securities, and lead the implementation of cutting edge systems to meet the firm's analytical and reporting needs. 

The successful candidate must hold an advanced degree in a related discipline and have 10+ years of progressive responsibility in risk management with a major investment bank or top hedge fund.  This position offers a highly competitive compensation package with long term career opportunities.
