Robert Half is seeking an IFRS/Consolidation Accountant for a client based in Luxembourg.
This international group has a presence all over Europe and a growing entity in Luxembourg. To support the increase of activity, our client is currently looking to recruit an IFRS/Consolidation Accountant for their Luxembourg entity.
YOUR ROLE:
Responsible for day-to-day accounting, preparing annual financial statements and publication accounts for allocated client companies (commercial companies, real estate companies, SOPARFI, SA, SARL) under LUX GAAP and IFRS. Experience with SPV, SICAR and fund structures would be a plus.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports and monthly consolidation reports under IFRS
Responsible for the preparation of interim reports, consolidation reports, cash reports and other financial results for allocated client companies in accordance with LUX GAAP or any other international accounting standards (i.e. IFRS or US GAAP)
Work independently in all financial matters related to allocated clients, co-operate with others according to the needs of the accounting department
Day-to-day contact with clients' local and international advisors such as lawyers, tax advisors and auditors.
YOUR PROFILE
Education in Finance and Accounting, preferably with an international accounting degree at university level including consolidation and IFRS courses.
Minimum 5 years experience in a professional environment, preferably in a trust company, domiciliary agency or audit firm within an international financial services industry. Practical experience with preparing consolidation accounts under LUX GAAP and especially under IFRS for international clients.
