Our client is a provider of the most respected, widely utilized credit ratings, research and risk analysis. They are looking to hire a Vice President to manage a portfolio of South African corporate Issuers across a broad range of industry sectors.

Our client, one of the leading credit rating agencies are looking to hire a Vice President, based in Johannesburg, to manage a portfolio of South African corporate Issuers across a broad range of industry sectors.

Responsibilities of the role will include;

• Manage and maintain relationships with South African issuers, investors and intermediaries.

• Conduct initial and on-going credit analysis on a dedicated portfolio of companies with public ratings in the South African region.

• Write in-depth, insightful and focused credit research of a high quality.

• Present credits effectively and comprehensively in Rating Committees and other internal analytical meetings.

• Researching, writing and presenting on credit opinions/topical research and interacting with investors and intermediaries.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing relationships; possess strong credit skills, including demonstratable financial analysis experience; understanding of complex transaction structures and loan and bond associated documentation. On a personal level you will possess sound judgement, good communication skills and the ability to build relationships. While previous experience or knowledge of South African market is a desirable it is not a prerequisite
