Our client is a highly successful investment bank, with one of the most successful equity research franchises.  They are now looking to add several equity research associates to their London team, working as part a successful industry coverage group.

The roles will focus on the analysis of companies, markets and sectors and the generation of investments ideas for your asset management, institutional and hedge fund client base.  Daily work would entail financial modelling, valuations, writing research notes, attending company presentations and results, and keeping abreast of market developments.

Applicants may come from one of many backgrounds including accountancy, equity research, credit research, investment banking, strategy consulting or economics.  It is possible that you have an MBA, or CFA qualification.

Of real importance is your ability to construct and maintain a financial model from scratch, excellent academics, communication skills and a clear interest in financial markets. If you are interested in applying, it is key that this ability is clearly stated on your cv.
