Java Developer – Finance – Virginia - Suburban DC, Washington

Will design, develop and support systems within the financial modeling and research area providing financial analytics for Structured Products

Work as part of Financial Engineering team to implement financial models and associated QA frameworks. Develop financial tools for use in Financial Engineering.

Skills:

Solid Java programming skills.
Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux Operating Systems and Shell scripting.
Solid understanding of RDMBS platforms. Preferably Sybase and DB2 UDB.
Solid experience with SQL (performance tuning/optimization) a plus.
Basic C++ (STL, Generic Programming) skills.
Background/knowledge of Finance, Economics, Fixed Income Instruments a plus.

Compensation: $100k – 175k
