Our client is a major investment bank, who are now looking for a Corporate Strategy Analyst in their London team.  The role works with the COO of the European division, and affords considerable exposure to senior management.

The position will focus on the following:

- strategic planning for the development of bank throughout Europe

- competitor and market analysis and benchmarking

- assisting with non organic growth initiatives amd M&A work

- business development and special project work

We are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- strategy consultants from the leading firms such as McKinsey, Bain, LEK, Oliver Wyman, Booz , BCG

- probably with between 1 -3  years experience

- excellent communication skills

- financial services is useful, but a generalist skills set is acceptable
