Our client a global Investment Bank is looking for a Commodities Product Controller to manage the daily P&L production and accounting for the Commodities Business (Oil&Gas, Power, and Carbon Emissions).  

The role involves:  

* Managing a small team of analysts to ensure that daily P&L and decomp figures reported are accurate and signed-off by the Front Office. 

* To act as the main liaison with Global Risk Management, Financial Control, Information Technology, Back Office.    

You must have:

* Extensive Commodities P & L experience
* University degree
* Accounting knowledge for on and off-balance sheet products a must
* Proficient in Excel, Access and Word
* Ability to work in a high demanding environment with tight deadlines
* Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
* Advance understanding of procedures and operational controls as they relate to trading systems and workflows for commodities products
* Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from manager
* Ability to work closely with all members of the Product Finance team in providing guidance and assisting in resolving issues
* Able to adapt to new software changes
