The candidate will be responsible for providing negotiation services to the US offices of the bank with respect to derivatives legal documentation as described in more detail below.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Drafting and negotiating the following New York law agreements: ISDA Master Agreements (including Schedules and Credit Support Annexes thereto), US Master Repurchase Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements, Securities Lending Agreements, Master Netting Agreements, Fixed Income Prime Broker Agreements, FX Prime Brokerage Agreements, Equity Prime Brokerage Agreements, Futures and Options Agreements, Cash Trading Agreements, Give-Up Agreements, and any other relevant documentation and subsequent amendments.

Reviewing constitutional documents and ensuring all requisite corporate consents and approvals are in place.

Assisting in special projects such as contract review and contract abstractions.

Liaising and coordinating with the Legal, Risk & Capital Division of bank and other internal departments as necessary.

Experience / Requirements:

A qualified lawyer or non-lawyer from a law firm, bank, or corporate background with at least 2 years experience in contract negotiation. Familiarity with investment banking, global markets and/or equity businesses and experience working with hedge funds, investment managers and trusts is preferable. Experience in negotiating the above-mentioned contracts also preferable.

The candidate would ideally have the following skill set/experience:

-- Detail oriented
-- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-- Well-developed interpersonal skills
-- Ability to work under time pressure and with a high volume of work

Qualifications:
Law Degree (preferred, but not essential)
Fluent in English (written and oral)

Working Hours: Normal Business Hours
