Morgan Stanley is recruiting a Leadership Development Associate to be responsible for high profile development initiatives tailored for senior individuals across the Firm, including targeted programs/initiatives for women’s leadership. This individual is the key contact to the business area for each of these development initiatives.
The Leadership Practice Training Analyst position is a unique combination of technical, organizational, analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work as part of a global team, be proactive and anticipate issues before they arise, liaise with senior internal clients, manage external vendors, possess strong communication and organizational skills and work in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be responsible for high profile development initiatives tailored for senior individuals across the Firm, including targeted programs/initiatives for women’s leadership. This individual is the key contact to the Morgan Stanley business area for the management of each of these development initiatives.
Responsibilities: • Design and scoping of leadership development initiatives within the EMEA region. • Execution of leadership development projects. • Delivery of development initiatives where required. • Relationship management - the ability to work with all levels of internal clients, with a particular focus on EDs/MDs. • Stakeholder management – in particular working to ensure MSU and HR colleagues are kept informed of all Leadership Practice initiatives. • Marketing and communication of development initiatives. • Oversight of all coaching assignments in EMEA including day to day management of coaching logistics, including processing of coaching invoices and relationships with our external coaches. • Maintenance of the coaching tracker for all coaching assignments within EMEA. • Project management of development initiatives – including tracking and reporting on progress. • Scheduling of development initiatives with internal clients/external vendors, and management of all associated media requirements. • Communication and relationship management with the conference center staff (including rooms, multi-media and facilities) and Morgan Stanley University personnel to ensure bookings and logistics are 100% accurate. • Project management of 360 feedback tools for course participants, including providing advice to participants, liaising with raters and collation of feedback. • Liaising with key individuals prior to any initiative to confirm logistics and course materials. • Ownership and preparation of all required materials. • Room set up, and meeting of individuals responsible for delivery. • Monitor the Learning Management System for course enrollments, course close out’s, and waiting lists.
Skills Required • In depth understanding of best practices in leadership development. • Design and delivery of development initiatives. • Experience of managing and working with very senior clients. • Highly collaborative, including experience of working in a global team. • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to influence colleagues. • Design and delivery capability for OD/training interventions. • Project management. • Experience working in a consulting firm is a plus. • Resilience and flexibility - ability to interact with difficult and fast-paced people in a productive manner. • Organization skills and the ability to balance varied tasks while focusing on detail(s). • Microsoft Office Suite, including excel. • Learning Management System (LMS) : Plateau.
