DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Design and generate various reports and queries to review and assess headcount activity (hires,departures, and transfers), employee data, compensation, demographics, absences, training, education,language skills, overtime, performance reviews, previous employment and business protection periods (BPP) ? Compile, review and interpret data to effectively interface with all levels of management and provide HR counsel.

*Maintain accurate, current, and legally compliant information in PeopleSoft (PS) and process paperwork for the local employee population including interns and contractors ? Data collection, input and validation of employee compensation data, BP, referral sources, hiring fees, and graduate experience.

*Conduct system testing in conjunction with modifications and implementations and work with end-users to provide functional and technical assistance ? Execute and coordinate the logistics of the employee on-boarding process and new hire orientation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required/Must have:

*PeopleSoft knowledge (8.8, 9.0)

*Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowperPoint and Access

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Required/Must have:

*2 to 5 years experience in investment banking or financial services environment required.

EDUCATION

Required/Must have:

*B.S. in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline required.
