The Core Cash Management Product Sales Specialists (CCM PSSs) are responsible for driving the execution of the CCM product strategy, in terms of both financial targets and strategic goals. As such the role encompasses all product areas that form part of the CCM product family, i.e. clearing, payments, collections, FX, delivery channels. Due to the strong linkages with other products, the CCM PSS will need to work in close partnership with other product companies, particularly liquidity and trade.
The role's goals are aimed at developing a strong working partnership across all the functional areas, establishing practices to efficiently manage deal cycles, developing a solution bundle framework for appropriate client segments/profiles to facilitate focused Sales initiatives and maximise and replicate successful client solutions.
The most critical responsibilities associated with the role can be describes as follows:
In conjunction with the Product and Corporate Sales organisations, develop segment differentiated product positioning, client/market strategies and client calling programmes to pursue profitable revenue growth opportunities
Partner with Regional/Global Product Management and Sales to deliver against product financial goals for the products/segments (eg. MNCs, Local Corporates, NBFI and FI) in Asia, Middle Market), prioritise product development and set strategic direction
Recommend effective and comprehensive product solutions and pricing strategies for significant client opportunities
Skills
Essential Skills/Experience:
6-8+ year experience in cash management, preferably product management, sales, consulting, implementation or project management office type roles
Strong knowledge of transactional banking and associated delivery channel products, familiarity with a number of Asian markets, domestic cash management practices, payment infrastructures, corporate requirements
Understanding of the relationship and interdependencies across other product companies
Ability to work both as an individual as well as a team contributor; a self motivator with attention to detail
Strong client presentation, communication and influencing skills
Ability to think creatively
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Exposure to Sales environment
Good business sense to process and analyse market/client intelligence and trends
Knowledge of the banking/financial services industry, particularly the competitive environment
Capacity to synthesise complex scenarios
Capacity to manage assignments and tasks concurrently; ability to work to tight deadlines
Education / professional qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required, possibly with strong majors in Economics/Finance, Business Administration or Accounting
Language requirements:
Excellent spoken and written English, command of one or more Asian languages a plus
