Data Architect with specific and deep experience in UMA/Managed accounts
This individual will lead the design & development of key aspects of information architecture including logical/physical data models, data flow diagrams and metadata strategy. Will work closely with Business Architects/Analyst, Product Development and Solution Delivery to design and implement complex data models. S/he must be familiar with the strategies, concepts, rationale, challenges, and otherwise best practices of data modeling in a large environment. Relevant experience must include complex data modeling, data analysis, and optimization and tuning, SQL programming, knowledge of Internet concepts, and familiarity with database applications and database engineering in general. At various times, s/he will also be tasked to write standards, processes or conduct in-depth data analysis. Will involve strategy, overall architectural guidance, and providing consulting services for best practices for data architecture and consolidation. Deep knowledge in Master Data Management strategies, Change Data Capture processes, and data quality best practices. Job Qualifications • 8+ years hands on data modeling experience of financial products • Clear understanding of Logical Data modeling concepts and goals. • Very proficient using either modeling tools. • Solid understanding of metadata management best practices (experience implementing or operating a metadata repository is highly desired) . • Excellent, proven written and verbal communication skills required. • Excellent, collaboration, influence and leadership skills required. • Fund Accounting or derivatives platform experience is a must
