UBS Corporate Center is responsible for providing HR operations shared services to all UBS staff in the UK. Pension and benefits administration is outsourced to external vendors. The Benefits Operations manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the benefits operations and works closely with the vendors to ensure a seamless delivery to members focused on client service, efficiency, and employee experience, whilst maintaining operational stability and delivery. The Benefits Operations manager is a direct report of the Head of Benefits Operations EMEA but will also support the Regional Benefits Manager (Policy & Strategy) in respect to the technical issues relating to pensions and benefits operations. The role comprises the following responsibilities: Providing support on the management of the outsourced UK Benefits provider for both pension administration and flexible benefits administration (currently Buck Consultants) to include: • Resolution of escalated pension & benefits issues. • Dealing with complaints and escalated issues from employees and pension scheme members relating to the benefits administration services • Managing some of the annual benefits projects, e.g. flexible benefits renewal and enrolment, pension bonus waiver process. • Oversee the processes for standard communications to pension & benefits members • Liaising with the 20 benefit providers within the ValueFlex (flexible benefits arrangement), e.g. AXA PPP private medical insurance • Manage the monitoring and reporting of the benefit provider SLAs – to include the UBS Health providers and Occupational Health • Invoice management for all benefits and pensions invoices • Provide support to the head of Benefits Operations in escalation cover for Regional Benefits Manager’s role in her absence Requirements: Relevant experience of dealing with the management of large outsourced contracts. Good pension and benefits experience (to include Pension Trustee liaison) gained in a similar environment. Preferably some compensation knowledge. Previous operational experience of flexible benefits plans. Working knowledge of vendor management, including managing SLAs.
